Victorian based commuter airline Sharp Airlines is now flying between Melbourne and Griffith six days a week.
The Warrnambool based airline operates commuter flights from Melbourne’s Essendon Airport to the Bass Strait Islands and Launceston. Now it adds Griffith to its schedule.
The Essendon-Griffith-Essendon flights operate every day except Saturdays. The airline operates a fleet of ten 19 seat Fairchild Metroliners.
Sharp Airlines is the only airline offering direct services between Melbourne and Griffith, the southern New South Wales regional city approximately 400 kilometres north of Melbourne.
Regional Express offers Griffith a direct air link to Sydney.
