Korean Air has announced that it is upgrading its Incheon-Brisbane service to daily flights. This is a step up from the current four days a week service. This announcement is a part of a raft of service changes in Korean Air’s South East Asian network.
The Brisbane service is due to go daily on October 27, 2019. The Brisbane flights are operated by a two class A330-300.
Sydney is the only other port for Korean Air. Sydney already receives daily flights.
Korean Air has no competitors on Incheon-Brisbane route but Jetstar is starting its Gold Coast-Incheon service later in the year.
The low cost carrier might tempt some Brisbane travellers away from the comforts of the full service premium Korean carrier.
