There’s a small window of opportunity to hop aboard a Malaysian Airlines A380 into or out of Sydney later this year.
Malaysian Airlines is swapping out one of its A330-300 for an A380 on selected dates in December 2019.
Malaysian Airlines flies twice daily into Sydney at that time of the year with both daylight and overnight flights in each direction.
For three dates in December 2019, the overnight flight from Kuala Lumpur (MH123) and the afternoon return out of Sydney (MH122) will be operated by one of their A380s.
Malaysian Airlines A380s have three cabins and seat 8 passengers in an open suite first class cabin, 66 passengers along the top deck in the business class cabin, and 420 seats in the economy cabin on the main deck.
The departure dates from Kuala Lumpur are December 5, December 6, and December 12, 2019. The departure dates from Sydney are December 6, December 7, and December 13, 2019.
The schedule for these particular flights is as follows:
|Dep Kuala Lumpur (KUL)||MH123||05/12, 06/12. 12/12/19||23:35|
|Arr Sydney (SYD)||10:55 (+1)|
|Dep Sydney (SYD)||MH122||06/12, 07/12, 13/12/19||13:10|
|Arr Kuala Lumpur (KUL)||18:45|
All other Malaysian Airlines flights in and out of Sydney over this period will continue to be operated by A330s.
