Port Moresby based Air Niugini is beginning nonstop flights between Port Moresby and Nadi, Fiji, on September 5, 2019.
The airline has been flying to Nadi via Honiara for several years but this is the first time passengers will between able to jet nonstop between the two island nations.
The flight will operate weekly and utilise one of Air Niugini’s 737-800 aircraft. It will supplement the existing flights that operate via Honiara.
The existing Port Moresby – Honiara – Nadi flight will operate on Saturdays with the return flight operating on Sunday.
Air Niugini styles itself as a full service airline and the flights wlll feature complimentary meals, drinks, and inflight services.
The new weekly nonstop flights will operate to the following schedule;

Economy one way seats appear to be priced from approximately AUD$650.00 and business class one way fares appear to be priced from about AUD$2000.00.
